So, I had to transplant my bean plant this morning. I never noticed before, but the "bean" turned into some sort of leaf. I wonder if the bean will transform into a permanent leaf of sorts, or if it will simply fall off?
I know that beans are traditionally a summer crop, but I would love to see how long we can get our bean plants to last. Will they produce beans? Will they get sufficient sunlight, now that our hemisphere is pointing away from the sun? (Making it winter)
What do you think will happen?

i think if you keep it inside out of the cold but in the sunlight, making sure it gets water. it will grow.

I hope it continues to grow. I keep forgetting about it and leaving it outside overnight. Thankfully the nightly temps haven't been too terribly cold...
ReplyDeleteI know sometimes i forget to water mine.
